We would like to take this opportunity to point out a few reasons why we think we can be the best steward of your land. · We are looking to expand, but not beyond our means · We offer very competitive land rental rates and solutions · We have the advantage of youth and the wisdom of our families' farming management practices · Soil testing will be taken every 4 years with the FS grid system with samples every 2.5 acres. A copy of this report will be sent to you · Fertility will be kept to University of Illinois standards (crop removal/fertilize accordingly) · pH will be kept to a minimum of 6.2 or whatever you, the owner, wants · Roadsides/waterways will be maintained at least 4 times a year and trees trimmed on an as needed basis · Tiles, inlets, and improvements will be kept up and maintained · Fields will be as weed free as possible · A complete report of the farm will be given to you every year after harvest that will include (but not limited to) yield, total production of each tract, the fertilizer applied, chemicals applied, insecticide applied, hybrids, etc
