Hellman Racing Stables

High Prairie, in conjunction with Hellman Racing Stables (Leroy, Carolyn and Rusty Hellman), has campaigned some of the more dominant racehorses in the St Louis region. Hellman Racing Stables is based at Fairmount Park in Collinsville, although they understand that mobility is a key part of racing.  You will often see the Hellman name at tracks across the midwest, with the horses competing in the most applicable race for their condition and class level.  It is a partnership that has been very successful, with High Prairie taking care of the breaking and conditioning at the farm, and Hellman Stables taking the horses to the next level of racing.

Day Rates for Hellman Stables:

Full Training at Fairmount Park-                          $30/day

    Includes training and stall boarding

 

 

*These rates do not include charges incurred in addition to training/boarding/rehab - medication, deworming, farrier work, etc.  These costs are assessed at competetive rates. 

 

Day Rates for High Prairie are as follows:

Full Training -                                        $25/day

    Includes training and stall boarding

 

Layups/Stall Board -                                $10/day

    Includes cost of board only

 

Post Surgical Care/Rehabilitation -           $25/day

    Includes cost of training, board, and any procedures related to post surgical instructions
