High Prairie takes pride in 15 years of starting competition horses under saddle. While focusing on thoroughbreds for racing, High Prairie also stands four   certified Illinois stallions.  While we are in our inaugural year, we are not lacking in expertise.  We ensure that our stallions receive top notch care and regular exercise to ensure a positive breeding experience.  Your brood mares are your investment, and we ensure that they receive quality care and monitoring.   High Prairie knows that these horses are the future of racing, and treats them accordingly. 

Day Rates for High Prairie are as follows:

Full Training -                                          $25/day

    Includes training and stall boarding

 

Layups/Stall Board -                                $10/day

    Includes cost of board only

 

Post Surgical Care/Rehabilitation -         $25/day

    Includes cost of training, board, and any procedures related to post surgical instructionsr

 

Broodmare Care -                                   $15/day

    Does not include veterinarian costs such as palpation and/or ultrasound. 

 

 

*These rates do not include charges incurred in addition to training/boarding/rehab - medication, deworming, farrier work, etc.  These costs are assessed at competetive rates.
