High Prairie takes pride in 15 years of starting competition horses under saddle. While focusing on thoroughbreds for racing, High Prairie trainers also produce western, rodeo and ranch horses as well. In any given month there are 20 to 25 colts being started under saddle. High Prairie trains throughout the year with indoor and outdoor facilities that incorporates a 100 ft equiciser as an alternative form of conditioning. 

Day Rates for High Prairie are as follows:

Full Training -                                          $25/day

    Includes training and stall boarding

 

Layups/Stall Board -                                $10/day

    Includes cost of board only

 

Post Surgical Care/Rehabilitation -         $25/day

    Includes cost of training, board, and any procedures related to post surgical instructionsr

 

Broodmare Care -                                    $15/day

    Does not include veterinarian costs such as palpation and/or ultrasound. 

 

 

*These rates do not include charges incurred in addition to training/boarding/rehab - medication, deworming, farrier work, etc.  These costs are assessed at competetive rates.
